Robin Bank
A non-custodial vault that turns USDG on Robinhood Chain into tokenized gold and blue-chip crypto, delivered cross-chain in a single signature.
Overview
Robin Bank is a browser-only interface — there is no backend, no account, and no custody. You connect a wallet, pay with USDG on Robinhood Chain, and receive your chosen asset on the chain where its market is deepest (Ethereum today). Everything you sign happens on Robinhood Chain; the cross-chain leg is handled by an audited routing protocol.
4663),
where USDG (Global Dollar, by Paxos) is a primary stablecoin. Robin Bank is an independent
project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood Markets, Inc.How it works
A swap is three steps, all initiated from your wallet:
- Quote. You enter a USDG amount and pick an asset. Robin Bank requests a live route from the LI.FI aggregator, which returns the exact output, the bridge/DEX path, the estimated settlement time, and the gas cost.
- Approve. If the router doesn't yet have an allowance for your USDG, you sign a standard ERC-20
approvefor the exact amount. - Swap. You sign one transaction on Robinhood Chain. USDG is spent, the route executes, and your asset is delivered to the same address on the destination chain — typically in about five seconds.
Quickstart
- Open the app and click Connect wallet.
- Approve the network switch — Robin Bank adds Robinhood Chain to your wallet if needed.
- Type an amount of USDG and choose gold or a crypto asset from the picker.
- Review the route line (unit price, settle time, gas), set your max slippage, and click Buy.
- Approve, then confirm. Watch the toast for your explorer link.
Supported assets
You always pay in USDG on Robinhood Chain. You can receive:
| Asset | Token | Backing | Delivered on | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gold | PAXG | 1 troy oz physical gold (Paxos) | Ethereum | Live |
| Gold | XAUt | 1 troy oz physical gold (Tether) | Ethereum | Live |
| Bitcoin | WBTC | 1:1 BTC | Ethereum | Live |
| Ethereum | ETH | Native ether | Ethereum | Live |
More assets list as their markets deepen. Where an asset has no real on-chain liquidity yet, Robin Bank does not route through an empty market — no fabricated fills.
Cross-chain routing
Robin Bank does not run its own bridge or order book. Quotes and transactions come from the LI.FI aggregator, which compares bridges and DEXs and returns a ready-to-sign transaction. In practice most routes settle through a fast intent bridge (e.g. Relay), so USDG on Robinhood Chain becomes gold or crypto on Ethereum in seconds. LI.FI, deBridge, and Across all support Robinhood Chain.
Non-custodial model
- Robin Bank never asks for a password, seed phrase, or private key.
- Your USDG stays in your wallet until you sign the approval and swap yourself.
- The output asset is delivered directly to your address — there is no Robin Bank "balance," IOU, or omnibus account.
- There is no server holding funds. If the website disappeared, your assets would be unaffected.
Fees & timing
- Robin Bank fee: none. We take no platform fee and no spread.
- Network gas: Robinhood Chain gas for your transaction — typically cents.
- Route fees: the bridge and DEX fees embedded in the quote, always shown before you sign.
- Settlement: commonly around five seconds via a fast bridge; the quote shows the current estimate.
- Slippage: you set a max slippage (default 1%); the route enforces a minimum output.

Risks
- Smart-contract & bridge risk: swaps rely on third-party DEX, bridge, and token contracts. Only transact amounts you can afford to have at risk.
- Price risk: gold, crypto, and metals fluctuate. Tokenized gold tracks the gold price, not a fixed dollar value.
- Slippage & liquidity: large orders may move the price or fail to route; the app shows the minimum you'll receive.
- Not advice: Robin Bank is software, not a broker or adviser. Nothing here is investment advice.
